PickMeUp accepts most insurance companies with a pre-authorization number (PA#).
If you would like PickMeUp to bill your insurance company, we require that the patron receiving service guarantee the services provided, in the situation that the insurance company does not cover this service.
Please contact your Insurance Company representative to see if you qualify for PickMeUp services.
Currently, Medicare does not cover non-emergency transportation services, but attempts are being made to pass a bill to cover these costs. Please contact your Senator and Congressman, regarding this issue.
Cost of Services
Round Trip Pick-Up Fee (within 4 hours) .....$38.00
Loaded Mileage (each miles ......$2.50
Stretcher Use Fee (includes attendant) ......$15.00
Wheelchair Use Fee ......FREE
After Hours Fee ......$35.00
Weekdays 6 p.m. 8 a.m., Weekends & Holidays
Missed Pick-Up Fee ......$25.00
Cancellations must be received by PickMeUp a half (1/2) hour before scheduled pick-up.
Oxygen Fee (per regulations ......$5.00
Charged at half hour increments
Payment arrangements should be made when the service is scheduled.
There is no extra charges for the difficulty of the transport (stairs, patron weight, etc.)
